At Technis, our vision is simple: turn every physical space — retail, real estate, industrial, or public — into a space that's measured, understood, and managed at the same speed as the digital world; it's in that spirit that we're taking a new step forward with our Retail Intelligence solution.
You manage one site, or fifty. You have sensors, cameras, dashboards. But how many times have you looked at your data without finding the answer to the question that really mattered — where exactly are we losing our customers? Where do visitors go after the escalator? Which sites in my network are underperforming right now?
Data without the right view is just noise. This month, we're launching three new features — the Sales Funnel, Visitor Direction and the Multisite Map — and announcing our native integration with Shopify, for merchants who manage their retail online and in-store.
You run your business on Shopify. You know how many visitors came to your site, how many converted, how much they spent. But as soon as the question turns to your physical stores, the answer stops at revenue.
Technis Retail Intelligence is now available directly from the Shopify App Store. In one click, and your stores surface the same metrics as your website: incoming traffic, conversion rate, average basket, visitor demographics — in under 24h, no technician required.
What you can do with it:
One important note: the app works on all Shopify plans — Standard, Advanced and Plus. Connection is one click, sensor installation takes about one hour per store, and first data is available in under 24h.

Most analytics tools offer a fixed conversion funnel: passersby, entries, purchases. It's a starting point — but it rarely matches the way your business actually works.
The Sales Funnel in Spaces is configurable. You define as many steps as you feel useful to you, each linked to a metric and the zone or passage that matters for your retail operation. Front door entries. Engagement in a specific aisle. Purchases at the till. Name each step freely, define your own logic, and the funnel reflects your business — not a generic template.
What you get in a single view:
What this changes: your weekly review no longer starts with "how did the week go." It starts with "here's exactly where we lost customers — and at which step."
The Sales Funnel is available now for all Spaces customers.
Counting how many people enter your space is the baseline. The real question is what happens next — and at every escalator, entrance and junction, your visitors make a directional choice that influences the performance of your space.
Until now, that choice was invisible.
Visitor Direction measures the directional split at each monitored passage — left, straight ahead, right, both directions — and displays it as directional arrows directly on your floor plan in Spaces. The widget is the same as your heatmap: a single toggle to switch from "where are people" to "where are they going next."
What you can do with it:
A few important points: Visitor Direction works on your existing cameras, and every deployment starts with a feasibility assessment by Technis — because accuracy depends on camera angle and passage geometry, and we only deploy where the measurement will be reliable. It's an analytical feature, not real-time: data is available by the minute, hour, day and month. And it measures each decision point independently — full journey reconstruction is the direction we're building towards.
Visitor Direction is available now as a paid add-on on Technis Spaces, on request. Configuration is handled by Technis.
When you manage multiple sites, the problem is always the same: getting a cross-portfolio view means opening report after report, switching tabs, assembling the picture manually. By the time you have the full picture, the meeting has already started.
The Multisite Map solves that. It's a new widget in Spaces reports that places all your sites on an interactive map, with real performance data attached to each one. Assign a primary metric — footfall, occupancy, energy consumption, whatever matters most to you — and up to four secondary metrics, then colour each location by performance level. Underperforming sites stand out immediately.
What you can do with it:
One thing to note: addresses in Spaces are now connected to a mapping API, meaning site locations are standardised and accurately geocoded. A quiet change, but with a real impact on data quality at portfolio scale.
The Multisite Map is available now for all Spaces customers.
Organisations that manage their physical spaces well — retail, real estate, facility management, energy, security — have one thing in common: they act on their data faster than their peers. Not because they have more of it, but because they can read it clearly and share it instantly.
The Sales Funnel, Visitor Direction, the Multisite Map and the Shopify integration each answer the same fundamental question: what is actually happening in my spaces, right now, and across my network? Each one closes a blind spot that previously required manual work, external tools, or guesswork.
July 2026 is another step in that direction.
The Sales Funnel and the Multisite Map are available now for all Spaces customers. Visitor Direction is available on request as a paid add-on — contact your CSM to kick off a feasibility assessment. The Technis × Shopify integration is available on the Shopify App Store.
